Frequently Asked Questions

RV Trailer Rental FAQ – Your Road Trip, Your Way 🚐✨

Getting Started

Q: What kinds of trailers do you have?
A: We rent travel trailers in a variety of sizes — from lightweight models perfect for smaller SUVs to roomy family-friendly trailers. Each listing shows the length, weight, and sleeping capacity so you can find the right fit for your tow vehicle.

Q: What kind of vehicle do I need to tow one?
A: You’ll need a vehicle with a proper towing capacity, a Class III or IV hitch, and a 7-pin connector for lights/brakes. If you’re not sure your vehicle can tow, we can help you check before booking.

Q: Do I need a special license?
A: Nope! A regular driver’s license is all you need — just make sure you’re comfortable towing before you hit the road.

Q: How early should I book?
A: The earlier the better — especially during summer or holidays. Booking 4–6 weeks ahead is a good idea to lock in your dates.

Money Stuff

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Most of our trailers rent for $100–$200 a night, depending on size and season.

Q: What’s included in the price?
A: Your trailer rental, basic hookup gear (power cords, water hoses), kitchen set (cups, plates, silverware, cookware), stocked bathroom, liners and a walk-through to make sure you know how everything works. You can add on extras like generators, camping chairs, kayaks, ect. or even delivery to your campsite if you’d rather skip towing.

Q: Do I have to leave a deposit?
A: Yes — a refundable security deposit is required when you book. You’ll get it back after the trailer is returned in good shape.

Q: Any other fees?

A: Yes — We have a cleaning and prep as well.

Q: How do I pay?

A: We take major credit and debit cards. Fast and easy.

Rules & Policies

Q: What if I need to cancel?
A: Cancel 30+ days out for a full refund. Cancel 29–14 days out for a partial refund. Less than 14 days? We can’t refund, but give us a call — we may be able to reschedule you.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Absolutely! Most of our trailers are pet-friendly. A small cleaning fee of $50 per pet applies to keep things fresh for the next guest.

Q: Can I smoke inside?
A: Nope — all trailers are 100% smoke-free. If there’s evidence of smoking, we have to charge for deep cleaning.

On the Road

Q: Can I take the trailer out of state?
A: Yes! Just let us know where you’re headed so we can make sure you’re fully covered with insurance and roadside assistance.

Q: What if something goes wrong on the road?
A: You’re covered with 24/7 roadside assistance. If you have a flat tire, power issue, or anything else, give us a call and we’ll help get you back on track.

Pick-Up & Return

Q: Where do I pick it up?
A: Pick-up is at our main location — or if you’d rather skip towing, we can deliver and set it up at your campground for a fee.

Q: When do I pick up and drop off?
A: Pick-ups are usually after 3 PM and returns by 11 AM. Need different times? Let us know and we’ll try to work with your schedule.

Q: Do I need to clean it before returning?
A: Yes — bring it back clean inside, tanks emptied, and with any add-ons in place. Short on time? We can handle cleaning or tank dumping for a fee.

Top Tips for First-Time Trailer Renters 🏕️

  1. Know Your Tow Vehicle – Double-check your vehicle’s tow rating before booking.

  2. Practice Towing – If you’re new to towing, try a few slow turns and backing up in a parking lot before your trip.

  3. Plan for Setup Time – Give yourself time to level the trailer and connect hookups when you arrive at camp.

  4. Bring the Basics – Think about bedding, food, and camping chairs. (Or let us add them on!)

  5. Take It Slow – Trailers handle differently than cars — drive slower, leave more stopping distance, and watch your turns.

  6. Ask Questions – During pick-up, we’ll walk you through everything — don’t be shy about asking us to show you twice.
